FAQ

So you want to come to Slapdash 2017? Here’s a couple of things you should know.

When is it?

Slapdash will take place from Monday 16th to Sunday 22nd October 2017!

How do I apply?

You can submit your team on the Improv Network website, but you’ll have to create an account. Don’t worry, though, it’s easy.

What’s it going to cost me?

There’s no application fee! If your team is selected, there is a £20 administration fee per person. If you apply for the Slapdash International Team and are accepted it is £150 person if not needing London accommodations. If needing accommodations it’s £270.

What do I get?

You will get a high quality recording of your set uploading to YouTube, Slapdash 2017 T-Shirt and other swag, performer’s only green room with food and drink, discounted accommodations, and comp drink tickets. There will also a performer’s-only green room stocked food and drink to keep you going.

Where can I stay?

London can be crazy expensive. That’s why we want to help you with housing costs. If you are applying as a team and need some help with accommodation just let us know and we’ll help you find discounted accommodation nearby!

Where is it?

The Nursery, like London, is split between north and south of the river. Our posh new performance space is at 2 Finsbury Avenue Square, just a short walk from both Moorgate (Northern, Hammersmith & City, Circle and Metropolitan lines) and Liverpool Street station (Hammersmith & City, Circle and Metropolitan, Central, Overground and National Rail lines). Our training centre, where we will be holding workshops,  is right next and London Bridge Station (Northern, Jubilee and National Rail), at the Capital House, 42 Weston Street. [map?]

What’s there to do?

We’re putting together some activities for visiting teams to experience London! Stayed tuned for more information.

I own or know of an organisation that wants to sponsor Slapdash, a registered not for profit, how do I get in contact?

Thanks for asking! That’s so kind of you!  You can contact Julia at mail<a>slapdashfestival.com.
